From today's discussion, I have realised how much extra footage we actually need and how important it is to have more footage than what we actually need. By having more footage than what we actually need will mean that we have the possibility of being able to select what we wish to use. Whereas, if we had a limited amount of footage this would restrict us as we wouldn't be able to choose our footage as we could only use what we have got. To be able to start our editing stages later on in the process we need to have at least 20 minutes of footage. By having 20 minutes of footage it will allow for us to cut out the footage and use the best parts of it. Our title sequence is going to be 2 minutes long. By having 20 minutes of footage it also allows.
Furthermore when filming the continuity needs to be the same throughout. When shooting we need to have the same type of weather conditions. By having the same type of weather conditions it means that it will keep the consistency and also the atmosphere the same. This is vital that we get this right when filming to ensure that a good amount of footage that we can select what we are going to use from it. In addition to the above the actors need to be wearing the same outfit on all shooting days and also not have changed anything in terms of appearance. For example type of hair cut or hair colour. Without keeping factors like these the same the title sequence won't flow properly and therefore the continuity will not be the same.
