Audience Survey

 After consulting eachother in the group, we decided based upon previous research on the Crime Gangster Thriller  that we should start thinking about the idea of a Crime Gangster Thriller for our Coursework. However when deciding upon this we felt that we as a group needed to carry out some more research first to enable use to have enough information before making a decision. From looking at our research we had not yet done an audience survey. This is when we decided to put together a survey which we thought would give us the appropraite information to be able to see if our target audience would be interested in a Crime Gangster Thriller. We put togethet the questions of our survey by looking back at previous research we had taken out and putting these into questions that would help us decided.

Once we had completed our survey we reflected on how the information we got given would help us to decided if we should do a Crime Gangster Thriller Opener.

After discussing our results as a whole, we decided to create some graphs so that we could clearly see the results:

Our survey shows us that there was an equal score of people who would be interested in seeing a Crime Gangster than the was of people who wouldn't want to see a crime gangster Thriller. It also revealed to us which characters people would want to see in a Crime Gangster Thriller. From looking at the results most people would want to see stalkers and menaced women. The next step in our research is to decide whether we want to do a 15 or an 18. From the survey four people said they would prefer to see an 18 rather than a 15.  This will help us when deciding which classification our thriller should be. However from looking at the survey I believe we need to ask more people in our target audience( teenagers) as we wouldn't then get a much better set of results which we would clearly be able to see the different in the results provided.
